If you like middle eastern food, I highly recommend this place. Food came out quickly and was delicious. Generous portion size, will be having the rest for lunch tomorrow. Amazing staff, great service and the owner was welcoming and friendly. Cozy atmosphere.

Food is amazing as always. Owner is very kind, we forgot to check what time Heart of Jerusalem closes and showed up 15mins before closing. He and his staff were happy to seat us and we were finished eating by the time they closed. Will keep coming over and over when in town visiting family!

We visited the restaurant for the first time yesterday evening for dinner. The food was extremely delicious and service was amazing in spite of full house. The owner was very kind enough to check on us and made sure if the food is tasting good. We loved the hot sage tea and homemade Baklava dessert too. I have been to many Mediterranean restaurants in Colorado before, but this one is so far the best tasting food. Because of the great service and delicious food, we went for lunch again today. Food tasted amazing again! Thank you for the great services. I will definitely visit her often.

5 Stars – Flavorful, Filling, and Fantastic! We ordered the Ultimate Plate on rice at Heart of Jerusalem, and damn—it was so freaking good. The meats were tender, the rice was perfectly seasoned, and the portions were no joke. There was so much food I couldn’t even finish it, and that never happens. Every bite was bursting with bold, authentic flavor. The atmosphere was just as impressive—authentic and inviting, with a warm vibe that made us feel right at home. Even when the place got packed (which it did fast), the service didn’t miss a beat. The staff was awesome—friendly, attentive, and clearly on top of things. If you're craving something flavorful, hearty, and made with care, Heart of Jerusalem is where it’s at. We’ll absolutely be back. Oh and make sure you grab a few sage mints near the register :)

Best food I have had so far in Colorado Springs… the portions are huge and taste home made! Highly recommend if you like Middle Eastern food! 5 stars!

I usually do not write reviews online, but my husband and I were very impressed with our dining experience yesterday. First, we were blown away by how mature the employees were. It is very hard to find teenagers who look you in the eye, are willing to have a friendly conversation with you, and truly care to do a great job. We are still talking about this! Boy does this location hire well. Our food was excellent and the service was incredible. WELL DONE! We will be back for sure!

I got the beef and lamb plate for lunch. Flavor was good on everything and the service was good. If I had to pick a recommendation for the Beef and lamb plate would be to put more pickled peppers. I would definitely come back again regardless

Authentic and delicious! The portions a very generous. This is one of the few restaurants I feel like I get my moneys worth portion wise. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is authentic. I have never waited more than 15 minutes to receive my food even when busy. We frequent Heart of Jerusalem and recommend everyone to give it a try

We have been a few times. Tonight we showed up 15 minutes before closing (not intentionally). The employees were all so nice and did not rush us, let us eat in the store and even entertained my odd order of a plate full of chicken due to me eating the carnivore diet right now. We even offered to take the food to go and they told us it was not problem and not to rush. We still got out as quick as we could so they could get home, but we appreciated the fact that they did not make us feel rushed and they were so kind. Food was amazing as always, reasonably priced. We will be back again soon!

They were amazing!!! Got there later than we wanted too and they were closing in less than an hour. Not only did they greet us kindly but did not rush us at all. Even after they had closed and we were finishing up they offered us desserts. Our girl loved it so much she just had to take her brother there the next day so he could try it. We also loved that they offered the hummus bowl for the kids.

Everything about this place is great. We ordered the chicken sandwich and the beef & lamb sandwich. We also ordered the combo so each of us picked a side. My wife had the fries and a small size of taziki. I opted for the babaganoush. The flavor, texture, temp everything of all the dishes was spot on. We also have some baklava were too full to eat right now, but I suspect that will be perfect as well. On top of the great food the service was top notch. Super friendly servers that brought the food out very quickly. We will be back often and I suggest if you’re thinking about coming here to dine stop thinking and come and eat.

I’ve been to the one on the other side of the springs and they’re both amazing. The hummus must be homemade because it is so good! I order the gyro every time with the hummus platter — never misses. This time I also ordered their sage tea (so good) and baklava (fell in love). A MUST go to spot if you’re in the springs.

This is hands-down the best middle eastern food we have enjoyed in a long time. The hot sage tea and made-in-house baklava were amazing. The service was incredible, and we will be back anytime we’re headed through town! We loved the food so much that we ordered an additional meal to go so we can enjoy it again later tonight.

Alright, baklava lovers, listen up. The baklava at Heart of Jerusalem is next-level amazing. It's perfectly sweet without being overwhelming, and the texture is spot on—crispy but doesn’t crumble apart. And guess what? You can order a whole dozen! Treat yourself, you won’t regret it. Oh, and don’t sleep on the rest of the menu—everything is just as fantastic. The staff? Absolutely awesome and super friendly. This place is a gem!

We are not really familiar with Mediterranean cuisine, but our waiter Zach gave us excellent suggestions! We both ordered the Ultimate Plate & tried the baklava, which gave us a good sampling of different items. It was all delicious! We came home with leftovers and a to-go order of baklava!

We have eaten here for both dine-in and takeout, usually at the Centennial location. The food is always fresh and delicious and the staff friendly and welcoming. As a “semi-vegetarian”, I especially love the falafel dishes. The dolmas are another fave, and the hummus dip is absolutely the best I’ve ever tasted. Visited Jerusalem and surrounding areas many years ago, and this food is equal to or better than anything we had there.
